Valid assessments predict real-world performance
Here's the core question for any assessment platform: do the scores actually mean anything? Schmidt and Hunter's meta-analysis of 85 years of selection research found that well-designed work sample tests and structured assessments are among the strongest predictors of job performance. But the key word is "well-designed." Poorly constructed tests, ones with vague questions or irrelevant content, predict nothing. The online assessment software matters less than what you put in it.
