I usually give because

Take your clothes to a resale shop. You can use that extra cash to buy new outfits!
Donate your clothes directly to a homeless shelter or Goodwill store. Someone else needs them more than you do.
Throw them out! No use going through any more hassle.
Donate them and make sure to check in at the homeless shelter on Facebook to make sure all my friends can see I'm doing some good in the world!
When I pass the Salvation Army bell ringers around Christmas time
I check my pockets to see if I have any spare change. If I do, then I donate. If not then I usually walk on past.
I usually walk past... Plenty of other people are willing to donate.
I politely smile and walk by.
I'll go to an ATM to get money if I don't have any on me.

I believe in karma. If I do good for others I know good things will come my way.
