Personal phone calls taken on a work phone, mobile or personal mobile phone should not take precedence over the service of customers and clients, and should be kept to emergencies only during paid work hours.   
Internet 
 
The internet is provided by Multiskill Centre Ltd for business purposes. Very limited private use is permitted if the private use does not interfere with a person's work.  
Email
 
Email accounts are provided for formal business correspondence.
    • Take care to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information 
    • All emails sent must include the approved business disclaimer and signature
    • No material is to be sent via email that is defamatory, in breach of copyright or business confidentiality, or prejudicial to the good standing of the company in the community or its relationship with staff, customers, suppliers and any other person or business with whom it has a relationship
    • Email must not contain material that amounts to gossip about colleagues or that could be offensive, demeaning, persistently irritating, threatening, discriminatory, involves the harassment of others or concerns personal relationships   
Social Media
 

All employees, contractors and sub-contractors of the Company must agree to not publish any material, in any form, which identifies themselves as being associated with the Company or its clients, business partners or suppliers. Posts authorised by Management on the Company’s social media accounts or platforms identifying individuals being associated with the Company is permitted.

 

Employees are not to access social media sites during working hours unless the use is directly related to the performance of duties required in the course of their employment.

 

The company's posts shall not promote any political, religious or cultural events, celebrations or festivals. We demonstrate respect for all, in the course of our day to day business, and refrain from commemorations of all types.

 

If any employee, contractor or sub-contractor of the company is directed to contribute to or participate in any form of Social Media related work, they are to act in a professional manner at all times and in the best interest of the Company.

 

Social media and any other media posts, relating to specific government funded programs or grants must abide with contractual media wording, phrases or tags for that specific program or grant. 

 

Social Media includes all internet-based publishing technologies. 

Computers and laptops

To minimise data risk, the use of personal computers, laptops and phones to access dropbox, airtable or other work databases, work related websites e.g. SPER portal, and work emails, is prohibited, unless permission is specifically granted by the Director. Work phones and computers provided to staff employees will be Apple Mac to maximise security measures for organisational data.

Apple keychains must be used by all staff members on work computers to generate and store passwords. No common passwords or using of the same passwords for multiple programs is permitted. Apple keychain or Lastpass (for non-Apple products) must be used for any mgt staff authorised to use personal devises for work purposes to reduce data security risks.
 

Company Servers

All data servers must comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) rules, including software programs utilised by the organisation which store or use data.
