hello, younger me. you need to know that what's holding you back is that you never learned how to relax. or maybe you used to be able to relax, when you were a kid, but now everything you do, all your hobbies and your favorite shows and every waking moment that isn't dedicated to just getting through your day, all of it is being dedicated to some unnamed, amorphous great work that you plan on undertaking when you're good and ready. but i've found there is no great work. you'll never be ready. you can just go about your life and live it well and that will be a great enough work to justify your existence

i'm not really sure what makes a song lo-fi... it seems to be a lot of ballads with some electronic music components, but sometimes it's like, anime jazz beats, or bossa nova, or video game music? it seems like a really nebulous music category and i'm fine with most of it i guess but i wouldn't say i'm a fan
