To use a fire extinguisher you should start at the top of the fire and work downwards
PASS- Stands for Person Assisted Safety Statement

When using a fire blanket you should throw it from far away so you don't get near the fire
Only use a fire blanket for a small contained fire such as on a stovetop
If there is an oil fire throw a bucket of water on it
Never- use water on an oil fire
To use a fire blanket you should pull the tabs down, cover your hands with the top corners of the blanket, walk towards the fire and cover it completely
