Customer Service

The key to good customer service is building good relationships with your customers.

  • Always greet your customers with a smile and friendly attitude
  • Help customers unload their recyclables if required
  • If a customer does not have a schem ID, explain to them why they need it and give them the hand out explaing how to sign up for one.
  • If a customer is unable to sign up for a scheme ID, send them to the office where one of the staff can help them there.
  • All new customers are to be given the Customer Health & Safety flyer.

The scheme targets beverage containers most commonly seen as litter.
Most aluminium, glass, plastic, steel and liquid paperboard beverage containers between 150ml and 3L are eligible for a refund.
